Warhammer 40K Imperium Magazine Issue 87-89 Review18th May 2023
I don't know about you guys, but this magazine has added lots of plastic to my backlog, I am excited for it to finish so I can spend some quality time assembling and painting instead of reading! Let us have a look at Warhammer 40K Imperium issues 87 to 89 as we hit the penultimate magazines.
Included in Issue 87 and 88 are the Magazines, and our first and our second and third sprues for the Redemptor Dreadnought. Redemptor Dreadnoughts are giant war machines that crush bone and splinter skulls as they bludgeon through enemy ranks. Taller, broader and more cunningly wrought than the Dreadnoughts of traditional design, these goliaths of battle are powered by hyper-dense reactors and sophisticated fibre bundles.
Included in Issue 89 is the Magazine, our last fold out, and Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus. Kyria Draxus is an audacious Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos who specialises in the hunting and eradication of the Necron threat. Armed with a power fist and an Aeldari shuriken weapon called Dirgesinger, Kyria Draxus is well equipped to deal death at almost any distance. She is also accompanied by her Wyvach familiar, Shang, through which she can channel her psychic energies.
To store the Redemptor Dreadnought, look no further than the NVSM17P17, this tray will hold 2 of the Dreadnoughts, or 2 Invictor Warsuits.
To store the Lord Inquisitor Kyria Draxus we recommend the NVSM68 which will hold up to 10 dynamic models on 32mm bases. This tray will therefore fit the Marshal from a previous issue if you want to store both together. Likewise, the NVSM48 we recommend for the Space Marines, from the original 80 issue run, has some spare compartments left over for Draxus.
