Navara Recommendations for Chaos Space Marine10th Jun 2021
The Chaos Space Marines are one of the most iconic antagonists of Warhammer 40,000. Clad in corrupted power armour and wielding baroque weapons that echo the Imperial Space Marine, these Heretics are a powerful force. And we have perfect trays for them to recommend!
To start with, the Chaos Space Marines, Chosen, Raptors, Khorne Berserkers or Noise Marines will all fit in our 20SM58 tray, which will hold 20 models. This is a strong start to any force, and sits well with many of our other trays! For the more numerous Cultists, we can recommend our 20N4H tray, which stores 20 of the fodder infantry - and you'll be needing a lot of fodder for the battlefield!
The more powerful infantry, like Terminators, Havocs and Possessed - including the Lords of Chaos, Sorcerers and Warpsmiths - will fit best in our NVSM48 tray for 15 models! Given that many people like to maximise the number of Havocs in a force, this tray is perfect and with an 20SM58 we can fill half a KRM card case with it! If you need fewer spaces, but have a lot of cultists to store, our NVSM69 might suit you better! It can hold 10 of these miniatures, and has space for 2 20N4H trays, to hold 40 cultists total!
One of the most terrifying things to appear in the skies of the 41st millennium is a Heldrake - a mechanical dragon powered by the Warp, that descends from orbit to rain fire and snatch up hapless targets below - and our NVCM2 is perfect for this Heldrake, and 5 models on 40mm bases, such as Masters of Possession, Possessed or Chaos Lords.
The Forgefiends and Maulerfiends are brutal daemon engines, and our NVCM3 trays are perfect for them, supporting a pair of Obliterators and 1 Master of Possession or other 40mm based figure. Another heavy vehicle, the Land Raider, can be stored in our NVSM24, with space for either a pair of classic Dreadnought or Helbrutes with restrained poses.
And for those other vehicles, the Rhino and Predator, we can recommend our NVSM5P6 tray, suitable for a pair of transports and the battle tank, with space for an 20SM58 on top! And for the harrowing master of Daemon Engines, the Arch-Lord Discordant, we have the NVSM17P17, which has space for an additional Arch-Lord Discordant or Venomcrawler Daemon Engine.
