Warhammer 40K Imperium Magazine Issue 50&51 Review22nd Aug 2022
With our Adeptus Sororitas force growing by the issues, I hope everyone has had fun painting their sisters to take to the battlefield. Let us have a look at Warhammer 40K Imperium issues 50 and 51.
Included in Issue 50 are the Magazine itself, and probably my favourite sprue in the current range, the Necrons Royal Court. This sprue is a bargain when it comes with the magazine, including 2 Cryptothralls, 1 Plasmancer, the killing machine that is the Skorpekh Lord, and the towering Canoptek Reanimator. I mighty selection of models, first seen in Indomitus, these figures can be used in a range of different army list builds and will make a good addition to your collection.
Included in Issue 51 are the Magazine itself, and 2 new paints, Dawnstone and Pallid Wych Flesh. A couple of good layer paints to bring your models and scenery up a notch.
To store the Necrons we recommend the NVNE22 for the Reanimator, Skorpekh Lord and the Plasmancer, which also has room for your Skorpekh Destroyers, Overlord and Royal Warden previously received with the magazine. A 18F3H or even a 20SM58 which store 18 and 20 models respectively, perfect for the Cryptothralls and all the Necron Warriors you have collected so far.
If you want to store your paints then look no further than grabbing yourself a NH with the NVPNT-PP-B set which gives you space to store 54 pots in an easy to carry case. If you have been collecting at least 1 copy of each issue so far then you will already have 25 brand new paints all in need of somewhere to store or be taken on the road for one of those elusive miniature painting holiday weekends.
If you are also subscribed like us and plan to collect all the magazine issues then please check out our review of issue 1 with a list of trays perfect to hold the entire miniature collection here.
