Warhammer 40K Imperium Magazine Issue 77-78 Review2nd Mar 2023
I hope everyone had fun assembling their final Space Marine vehicle and are looking forward to their penultimate model of the original 80 issue run. Let us have a look at Warhammer 40K Imperium issues 77 to 78.
Included in Issue 77 are the Magazine itself, and our first sprue for the Necron Catacomb Command Barge. The Command Barge is a striking and imposing model. Adorned with Necron iconography and dynastic glyphs, it makes for an impressive addition to our Necron collection. Embarked upon the Command Barge is a Necron Overlord which makes this a much needed HQ choice for our almost complete Tomb World force.
Included in Issue 78 are the Magazine itself, and the second and larger sprue for the Necron Catacomb Command Barge. These sprues together double for a Necron Annihilation Barge, these are the Necrons favoured anti-infantry support platforms. Each is armed with a linked pair of tesla destructors - enormous energy cannons that fire arcs of eldritch lightning.
To store the Command Barge we recommend the NVNE7P7 tray which can hold 2 barges. There are a range of trays to hold the command barge or annelation barge with a range of other models like wraiths and Triarch Stalkers. If however, you are just collecting the miniatures that come in the magazine and no more, then the NVNE15P16 is best for you as it will hold the Triarch Stalker too from a previous issue.
If you are also subscribed like us and plan to collect all the magazine issues then please check out our review of issue 1 with a list of trays perfect to hold the entire miniature collection up to issue 80 here.
